GetAGlider

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Swiss Sailplane GmbH.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the GetAGlider marketplace. By creating an account or making a booking you accept these terms.

1. Operator

The service is operated by Swiss Sailplane GmbH, registered in Bern, Switzerland.

2. The service

GetAGlider is an online marketplace that lets glider owners list aircraft for rental and lets qualified pilots book those aircraft. We are not a party to the rental agreement, we do not own the aircraft and we are not the operator within the meaning of aviation law.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account, for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out under your account.

4. Listings & pilot qualifications

Owners are responsible for the lawful airworthiness of their aircraft and the accuracy of listing information. Pilots are responsible for holding all licences, ratings, medical certificates and currency required to operate the aircraft they book. Owners may decline bookings that do not meet their stated qualification requirements.

5. Bookings, payments and fees

Pricing is set by owners and shown before checkout. Card payments are processed by Stripe; off-platform payment methods proposed by owners are accepted at your own risk. We may charge service fees that are disclosed before payment.

6. Cancellations & refunds

Unless specific cancellation terms are shown for a booking, cancellations are handled between owner and pilot according to their agreement and applicable law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, scrape data at scale, attempt to circumvent payment, impersonate others, upload unlawful content or use the service to compromise aviation safety.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetAGlider is provided as-is without warranties. The operator is not liable for damages arising out of the rental relationship between owner and pilot, including but not limited to aircraft damage, personal injury or third-party claims. Owners and pilots remain responsible for adequate insurance coverage.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or for legal reasons. Surviving clauses include accounting retention obligations and limitations of liability.

10. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by Swiss law; exclusive jurisdiction lies in Bern, Switzerland, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules. For questions write to info@getaglider.com.
